{"id":1033,"date":"2017-06-26T12:17:17","date_gmt":"2017-06-26T16:17:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/shootingsight.com\/?post_type=product&#038;p=1033"},"modified":"2026-05-14T17:00:18","modified_gmt":"2026-05-14T21:00:18","slug":"scar-16-bore-guide","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/shootingsight.com\/?product=scar-16-bore-guide","title":{"rendered":"Bore Guide for SCAR 16 or 17 or 20"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The SCAR bore guide tube is now made from anodized aluminum to prevent interaction with copper solvent.\u00a0 It has a 20 degree shoulder and an o-ring, so it will match up in the shoulder of the chamber to keep the solvents from leaking, and will prevent the cleaning rod from potentially scratching the throat.<\/p>\n<p>The SCAR 17 bore guide is tube is\u00a0 .308 ID, while the SCAR 16 bore guide is slightly smaller, to fit in a .223 chamber.<\/p>\n<p>The SCAR 20s 308 will work with our SCAR 17 Bore Guide.
