Description
Heckler & Koch G36, SL-8, UMP, and USC all use the same fire control geometry, so this semi-auto only trigger will fit all of them with zero modifications to your lower.
This is a 2-stage trigger. Total pull is around 5lb, though this can be increased up to about 7lb through spring selection if this is going in a duty gun that requires a higher pull. The components are all CNC machined from billet tool steel. Sear surfaces are all diamond lapped and then NiB coated for smoothness of pull in the first stage, before a glass-like break on the hammer release. There is zero felt creep on the second stage, improving accuracy on aimed shots, but with so little travel you can easily pull through the 2nd stage if you want snap shots. The reset is short and crisp for rapid follow-up shots.
This trigger consists of a replacement hammer, sear, disconnector and disconnector spring. These are three 922(R) compliant parts manufactured in the USA.
Note, this kit only contains these listed parts – you will re-use the pins, trigger bow, and some of the springs from your original trigger. So it is intended for you to do a conversion on an existing gun, or upgrade a kit. If you are building a gun from scratch, you will need to source other parts to get a complete Fire Control System.
This trigger is designed to follow the US Manual of Arms, which means you can only engage the safety if the hammer is cocked.
Installation is recommended by a trained gunsmith.
