Lotus Emira fob key ring

Description

2 pairs of split rings, sized to fit the Lotus Emira remote/key fob.

The design of the fob has a small recess that does not fit a normal key ring, and the ring that does fit is too small to put a key on it.  So the solution is a small ring, sized to fit the fob, coupled to a large ring, sized to fit other keys.

Installing these does require disassembling your fob, so do this at your own risk, but it does seem pretty straight forward, as the two halves just snap together with plastic clips.

1. Open the end door to remove the emergency key.
2. Pull the emergency key about 1/2 way out, and twist it.  It should pop the two halves partially apart.
3. Work the gap until the fob pops totally open.  The door of the emergency key will likely come off the hinge.  Re-insert it in the ‘closed’ position, so the spring latches hold it in place.
4. Interlace a large and a small ring.  Place the small ring over the boss in the fob.
5. Connect the two halves together by joining the fob along the edge where the key ring is.
6. Rock the opposite side of the fob down so it all snaps together.
7. Replace the emergency key, and done!

I plan on shipping these in an envelope with a first class stamp, so basically I’ll list them for a minimum price, with no shipping cost for US delivery.  I’ll figure out how to ship internationally at a reasonable cost.
