Trigger Over-Travel Limiting Safety Selector for AR
Standard AR safety selector, modified to add a set screw to limit over-travel.
For target shooting, a lot of competitors want to limit how far the trigger can travel after hammer release, so the rifle does not get pulled off-target during the approximately 5-6ms it takes for the hammer to swing. These selectors have a set screw projecting out of the ‘flat’ face of the safety, so that it will contact the tail of the trigger when in the FIRE position, limiting the swing of the trigger. Set screws are installed with a thread sealant that holds them in place, yet still allows some amount of adjustment after installation, so they can be adjusted to stop the trigger just after the hammer is released.
These will work with most after-market triggers.
