Description

2-Stage Trigger for the CZ Scorpion EVO3 and 3+

Complete RPS™ 2-stage drop-in trigger for the Scorpion EVO 3 and 3+.  All parts are CNC machined from Rolled Plate Tool Steel, and NiB coated for smooth pull and glass sharp break on the second stage.  The only thing you need to add is the trigger bow.

Counts for 3 parts under 922(r), Sear, Hammer, and Disconnector.  If you use a US made after-market trigger bow (not included), that would make it 4 parts total.

Trigger includes:

Complete drop-in cage, pre-assembled, so you can swap it into your Scorpion without needing to deal with pins or springs.  Just pull the safety, and remove one screw to swap the cage.

Key benefits:

– 4-1/2 – 5 lb trigger pull.  Short takeup.  Crisp reset.

– Drop-in parts with no modifications to gun.

– Compatible with CZ Scorpion EVO 3 and 3+, and all after-market trigger bows.

– Made in the USA.

NOTE: Some of these guns were shipped with trigger pack screws welded in place.  In order to install these springs, the trigger pack will need to be removed, so the trigger screw will need to be drilled out, or a replacement trigger pack without the welded screw will need to be used.

Couldn’t be happier with my total experience with this company Fast shipping, great customer service, and Awsome trigger. Night and day difference from a stock trigger, have about 400 rounds through it so far with no issues. Would most definitely recommend this product to anyone with a cz scorpion.

Fair price. Fast shipping. Easy install. Stock trigger pack makes double taps a chore. RPS trigger pack makes triple taps a breeze. 400 rounds with no issue. Extremely satisfied!

Breaks clean , just under 5lbs for me. 1st stage is pretty heavy making the “wall” less definite, best I can describe it is a sluggish 1st stage but this is not a precision firearm by any means so I can’t complain. Massive improvement over a bone stock trigger however just a little better than a stock Trigger with a spring kit which I had Before this swap which was a massive improvement over bone stock as well. From about 5.5 lb With a spring kit to just under 5lb. With this trigger as far as the break But without the creep of the stock trigger. Or with the heavy 1st stage, a smoother creep sorta speak. Is it worth the $$? I have no regrets but had I known the first stage was as heavy as it is I may have thought twice & waited. Almost feels more like a single stage with a smooth long creep vs a 2 stage in my opinion. Knowing this if there was an option for a straight up single stage, I would’ve went that route in a heartbeat because once at the wall, after applying sufficient pull it is a clean break. With that said for this platform and type of shooting it’s made for thats not necessarily a bad thing. I do hope maybe it eases up after a few more hundred rounds Or if There were options of lightening the first stage that would be awesome. Overall way better than stock but comes at a price point that triggers in other platforms are buttery smooth effortless 1st stage and icicle break 2nd stage feeling however I’m no expert and perhaps this platform doesn’t allow for such trigger pulls. Thus far this is the only option out there so if you can spare the $ go for it , I don’t think you’ll regret it. ????????

I agree totally with the above review. It is basically a single stage with long heavy smooth creep to the break. I rarely read reviews prior to buying and even more rarely leave reviews but this one I felt compelled to leave. I am not saying it is a bad trigger but for the money I expected a lot more. Once again not a bad trigger but I wish I had tried the Franklin trigger. The HB spring kit did way more for the trigger than this did for 5% of the cost.

Something wrong here – it should not be a single stage, unless there is something hanging up in the disconnector. We’ll follow up directly to get it back in and have a look at it.

If there is a stage in there I cant find it. I am not going to make any claims about my abilities tuning triggers but I do work with a lot of guns and triggers. I have been playing with this one for a few days and I cant find a wall or a second stage. I have several HB spring kits and have tried several with a little tuning of my own but again cant find a actual wall. It is a long pretty heavy pull to a breaking point with no change in resistance to establish that second stage break.

WOW customer service!!!! I did not ask for anything and today a replacement trigger arrived. I am not sure what was different but this new trigger was different. I was able to find a wall to the second stage with it. It is not a precision trigger but I really did not expect it to be. It still has a pretty heavy first stage but there is a definite wall before the break. Thank you Art!!!!! There was also a return envelope and the old trigger will be returned. THIS IS WHAT CUSTOMER SERVICE IS ALL ABOUT.

Stellar trigger – I have Art’s RPS trigger in my M1A so I was pleased to see he designed a CZ one as well. Couldn’t have been an easier install.

The factory trigger in my Scorpion left a lot to be desired. Actually, it was bad. I purchased the above; and WHAT a difference. It was very easy to install and it works great. I highly recommend the trigger. In addition, the customer service was excellent with fast shipping.

HBI springs are an excellent value. I also sell a spring-only solution to reduce trigger pull. However, trigger pull weight is not the only metric by which you measure the quality of a trigger. For one, my trigger is a 2-stage trigger, so you get a ‘wall’ in the pull weight just before the hammer releases. Further, the parts are all diamond lapped and NiB coated, so you get a very smooth pull. People are buying these guns for enjoyment, so if a better trigger makes you enjoy the gun more, it is worth it.

Wow! What a improvement, this is a must have for your scorpion evo.
    Thank you very much!

Dropped right in with no fuss or bother. I paired the unit with a Tandemkross Victory trigger specifically for the pre-travel adjustment. These two products in combination took my Evo 3 S1 Carbine from having a long, somewhat gritty trigger travel before a “mushy” release and indistinct reset, to minimal uptake, minimal travel, very sharp and crisp release, and, importantly for competition, a really short, very crisp and distinct, reset. I am very happy with this product and would recommend it to anyone with an Evo 3 S1.
